In the frozen Antarctic wilderness, a team of Australian scientists vanishes without trace. Their last known a remote Chinese research station.

The outpost has been hiding a terrifying secret. Something that defies belief. Something that shouldn’t exist.

Something that has escaped its icy prison and is now hellbent on hunting them down, one by one.

Drexler and his men came here on a rescue mission. Now they’ll have to save themselves, and prevent an ancient enemy from escaping to the outside world…

This is a novella set in the ‘Eight’ universe and follows on from the events in The Alpha
