Empire of Dust

Jack DeWolfe returns home and attempts to find redemption after his once successful run as an antiquities dealer ends with a ruined reputation. His struggle to prove himself a changed man is further complicated by “The Wolf,” Jack’s dark internal cynicism that constantly attempts to lead him astray. But when Jack comes across an old artifact made from black glass, he finds hints of the occult that unlock extraordinary abilities he could never have imagined. Now Jack must question everything he thought he knew, including reality itself. A bold reimagining of what it means to be a hero, Empire of Dust tackles existential questions and the evolution of the male archetype as it leads readers through a mind-bending journey. Jack’s own introspective musings ultimately champion the transformative power of change, even as they leave audiences mulling some of life’s deepest and most profound questions.
