A Touch of Steele (The Perdition Club #6)

A fun, sweet MM historical novella from Annabelle Greene!

Welcome to the Perdition Club, where passion and peril make natural bedfellows…

Arthur Steele doesn't suffer fools gladly. Born in Limehouse and an infamous part of Regency London's criminal underbelly, he's more the type to make fools suffer instead. But tonight he finds himself in the Perdition Club, doing dull surveillance work for half his usual fee--and he's doing it for Hugh Wycliffe, the most irritating ray of sunshine Arthur's ever met.

Hugh, despite his natural optimism, is down on his luck. His small but bustling coffee house has been ransacked, and despite having caught the criminals in the act he can't be sure who they are. He's still shocked he's managed to procure the services of Arthur Steele, one of London's most dour and inscrutable street toughs, to help him identify the men responsible. An identification that can only be made with ease from one of the city's most notorious drinking dens--a place that happens to be across the street from the Perdition Club.

One night in a room together, in a scandalous pleasure club for men? Both Arthur and Hugh aren't as against the idea as their public images would suggest. And beneath their snappy, sparky rapport lies something raw, passionate, thrilling--something that Arthur and Hugh, despite all their differences, just can't deny...
