Libby and Devon fell for each other the moment they met. Devon was a straightlaced office worker, while Libby worked as a backup singer and dancer on stage in Nashville, Tennessee.
Not only was she beautiful and talented……… Libby was full of mischief and loved to flirt with Devon in a way as to push his buttons, something he loved about her.

On another date, they are sitting at dinner when she begins to tease him, and he recalls how when they were recently getting ready to host a party at his condo, she had so teasingly provoked him that he was tempted to paddle her with his cutting board.

That was all it took for the orneriness and flirting to turn into somewhat of a dare. And when they went back to his place, to their mutual delight, Libby found out that she did very much enjoy actually receiving such a paddling.

It opened up a whole new vista in their relationship. And the effects it had on an already entertaining relationship to them both by surprise.
