The Tale of Oknytt & Gray Gnomes (The Ella Trilogy #1)

A royal daughter. A world of ancient magic. And powers she is only beginning to understand.
In the mythical kingdom of Nordanland, Tora is no ordinary girl. Daughter of the former king and queen, she is a powerful seer and healer, though the true depth of her abilities is something she is only just beginning to discover. When evil forces stir in the shadows and gray gnomes begin to move through the land, Tora and her loyal companion Wolf are drawn into a battle rooted in the oldest magic Nordanland has ever known.
Filled with oknytt drawn from authentic Swedish folklore, Aesir faith woven naturally into every page, and the kind of warmth and adventure that stays with a young reader long after the final chapter, The Tale of Oknytt and Gray Gnomes is the beginning of a complete and fully satisfying Norse fantasy journey written by a Swedish author who knows this world from the inside.
Book 1 of the complete Ella Trilogy. Continue the adventure in The Tale of Gealdors and Runes and The Tale of Dragons and Flatfeet.
Perfect for fans of Norse mythology, Scandinavian fantasy, and middle grade adventure.
