Time of the Rose

In the untamed West, survival is uncertain. But resisting a love like his? Impossible.

Wyoming rancher Colton Chase lives by a code of justice—not fantasy. But when he plucks a strange rose from a mountainside, a violent thunderstorm rips him from the nineteenth century and flings him into the future. Aged, disoriented, and haunted by loss, he’s caught off-guard by a woman who stirs something far more dangerous than desire: hope.

Madison Calloway travels to Jackson Hole for business, not to get swept off her feet by a silver-haired cowboy who speaks like he’s out of a dime novel. But Colt’s smoldering gaze, gravel-rough voice, and fiercely protective nature unravel her defenses—along with every rule she thought she lived by.

When the past reclaims Colton—and a history book reveals his grim fate—Madison makes a choice that changes everything. Thrown into a world of grit, gun smoke, and ruthless outlaws, she finds the man she loves younger, wilder, even harder to resist ... and his touch is anything but old-fashioned.

Time of the Rose is the heartwarming first book in the Twisted Rose Saga time-travel romance series. If you like gallant heroes, tough-as-nails heroines, and page-turning twists with a splash of humor, then you’ll adore Bonita Clifton’s charming adventure.
