The Truth Lies Buried (Borteen Secrets #2)

The past never stays buried for long . . .

Jenny Simpson has found herself back in her seaside hometown. She’s returned to Borteen Bay after receiving some crushing news. But it’s also a chance to begin again.

A new job leads her to widower Carver Rogers, an enigmatic and handsome sculptor she can’t get out of her head.

Jenny and Carver are drawn to one another despite the emotional scars that they’d rather keep hidden.

But they have more in common than they think . . . They’re shocked to learn that both their fathers disappeared without a trace twenty-five years ago.

And it all links back to a meeting at a police station one fateful night.

Now Jenny and Carver have found one another, can they solve the decades-old mystery? Perhaps they can find a way to move on from their tragic pasts . . . together?

But is Carver really on Jenny’s side — or could the truth be buried beneath their feet?
