Silent Witness (Patrick Grant #2)

Dr Patrick’s on holiday in the charming Alpine village of Greutz, Austria and ready to hit the slopes! Until, he spots something terrible from the balcony of his cozy chalet . . .

A dead body! Frozen stiff on the chair lift. He looks every inch the expert skier — if only he weren’t so inconveniently dead.

The villagers chalk it up as a tragic accident. But Patrick’s not convinced. Everything about the scene — from the corpse’s nonchalant pose to his neatly strapped skis — points to murder in the coldest blood!

As a blizzard rages, Patrick finds himself snowed in at the luxury Hotel Gentiana with a motley group of fellow guests. Between fiercely competitive skiers, jaded wives and would-be Lotharios, they all have secrets to hide.

Who’s the murderer in their midst?

It’s up to Patrick to solve this baffling mystery, before the killer strikes again. But the truth can be a slippery slope . . .
