The Nurse's Second Chance

An uplifting, second chance medical romance

Can they heal their pasts…together?

Nurse Alice Palmer thought she’d left her old life in London and her demons behind to start fresh in New Zealand. That was until her past catches up with her, with the arrival of new A&E consultant Andrew Barrett. Andrew’s still just as charming as before, except she can see a change behind his smile. Even with an ocean between them, Alice has never been able to forget Andrew, and now there is nowhere to hide. All she has to do is keep things professional.

But then Alice discovers her new neighbour is also Andrew, and her plans to keep her head down and her heart quiet are seriously threatened. Especially when she learns that he has a little girl and his world is falling apart behind the scenes. So offering to look after Emmy, is a risk, but she can’t ignore the motherless little girl in need of love. However, spending days together at the hospital and nights at home, Alice can feel the pain from years ago subsiding. Maybe Andrew and his little girl reappearing in her life is the second chance she didn’t know she needed?
