Life Sentence (Cassie Raven, #2)

Family ties are binding . . .

Camden mortuary assistant Cassie Raven has spent her life thinking that her parents were killed in a car accident when she was four. It's one of the reasons why she has such an affinity for the dead and why she has gone into forensic science.

But now she has discovered that what she thought she knew isn't the truth at all. The truth is that her father killed her mother and up until a few years ago, he was in prison for murder.

Compelled to try and find out something about her parents, Cassie asks friend DI Phyllida Flyte for help. She's expecting details on an open-and-shut case, what she isn't expecting is finding out that there might be more to her mother's murder than meets the eye . . .
