Hitman's Prize

Paid to kill. Stole an invaluable prize. One last job. Then it’s time to kick up my feet and enjoy retirement alone in my dream home, just the way I want. Unfortunately, despite the simple job, nothing comes easy when I find an angel residing in a home that’s supposed to be empty. We have a rule where I come from; no witnesses. Now I have two options. Get rid of the radiant problem or take the angel with me before someone gets their hands on her first. I’ve got to get her somewhere safe, somewhere far away from me. If she learns what I want to do with her, how I want to keep her at my side, she’ll try to leave my side before I can get her to a safe house. Even if it takes keeping my hands to myself and fighting off any urges, I’ll do whatever it takes to get her where she needs to go. Even if it means letting her slip through my fingers. Hitman’s Prize is a 17k short romance between an exhausted hitman who is ready to retire and an angel who’s ready to make the process as torturous as possible. HEA guaranteed!
