Sweet Score

She serves up ice cream. He serves up goals. Together, they might just score something sweeter...

Maggie knows three things for she makes the best rocky road in Nashville, she's undefeated at trivia night, and falling for the charming hockey player who visits her shop is definitely not on her agenda. But Aiden Mitchell, star forward for the Nashville Predators, keeps finding excuses to stop by for "just one more scoop" and their playful banter over obscure facts is becoming the best part of her day.

When a late-night encounter outside the shop forces Aiden to step in as her protector, Maggie starts to realize that there’s more to this wounded hockey hero than his stats suggest. But Maggie's time in Nashville has an expiration date. Starting something with a man whose life is firmly rooted in Nashville, especially one whose smile makes her forget all the reasons she shouldn't stay, feels like a recipe for heartbreak.

Aiden is determined to prove that some things are worth fighting for, even if it means laying his heart on the line. After all, the best plays are the ones you never see coming.

SWEET SCORE is a hockey romance featuring themes such as protective hero, he falls first, instalove, wounded hero, and sassy heroine. This closed-door romance proves that sometimes the sweetest victories happen off the ice.
