Do You Haunt to Know a Secret? (Mystic Mutt Mysteries #5)

A few bungled spells are bad enough, but uncontrollable magical hiccups? Disastrous!

Rookie witch Janelle Brighton thought solving a few crimes in Wyldwood Springs would score points in high places, but it’s her magical malady that’s caught the mayor’s eye. The town leader is so worried she's assigned a mentor to watch over Janelle and her friends.

Feisty familiar Mr. Bixby is outraged. The chatty dachshund didn’t cross back from the dead to be stuck on a leash like a regular dog.

Meanwhile, a librarian is reporting suspicious activity in the stacks. If it’s the work of a new ghost dog, trouble will surely follow.

First thing on Janelle’s agenda is finding a cure for her hiccups. Then, she’ll need to outwit her powerful mentor and fulfill her destiny of rescuing another spectral dog in need.

With hounds, humor, and homicide, will this be an adventure for the books… or the challenge that breaks the ambitious crew?
