A Curse of Stars and Storms (The Choosing Chronicles, #3)

She has death at her fingertips. He’s off-limits, but he might be the only thing that grounds her storm.

River Waterborn is the daughter of a Representative. She was born to immense privilege and is cursed with immeasurable power.

For the past eight years, she’s been trying to atone for the Incident. No matter how many lives she saves or patients she heals, she’ll never truly be able to escape the weight of her magic.

One night, she loses two patients, and her control breaks. She runs from the hospital to seek the help of the only man she trusts: Nikhail Galebringer.

Nikhail is more than just a powerful air fae who happens to be nearby. He’s also her brother’s best friend and is strictly forbidden.

River believes herself to be cursed. She cannot be in a relationship with anyone, especially not the handsome fae she’s flirted with for years. She is a bringer of death, and she must remember that.

But keeping Nikhail at arm’s length gets more difficult with each passing day. Soon, River is left asking if Cursed Ones can find love, or will she forever be alone with her storm?

A Curse of Stars and Storms is the first book in the next duology in The Choosing Chronicles. Book 2 will have a guaranteed HEA. This duology should be read after A Game of Love and Betrayal, and A Heart of Desire and Deceit.

There will be three duologies in total.
