Taken by the Manbeast: Steamy Historical Fantasy Romance (Legends of Braeyork Book 2)

I could not have imagined a worse fate than being forced to service the commander of the King's Elite Guard in preparation for being sent to the royal harem of concubines.

But would I be any better off if I was taken by a half-man, half-wolf creature?

How would I be treated by a towering manbeast covered in white hair with fangs protruding from his slobbering mouth?Yes, I was a half-thing too – more Fae than human. I was still pure and innocent in the ways of men, an orphan raised by my grandfather in this sleepy, remote part of the Braeyork Dominion.

And I knew what men wanted when they stared at me. No matter what I wore, I could not disguise my full figure from their leering eyes.

Was it only a matter of time before my innocence was ripped from me?

But when the inner thoughts of the manbeast’s monstrous desire filled my mind through some kind of psychic connection to one other, would I fight him too?

Or would he be the one who would ultimately save me?
