Dragon Shifter Midwife

After her baby is stolen, will the dragon midwife find him or will she lose herself in the strong arms of a stranger.

Every year there is a ‘heat season’ of dragon shifter births. It takes a specially trained midwife to birth the temperamental babies safely. These births take place all over the world. When dragon shifter midwife Haley Heatstorm loses a patient to a rare newborn shifting, her life changes dramatically.

Becoming a mother was never her plan yet she took on the task one day at a time. But when the child’s father, Donahue comes back three years later claiming ownership over his son, she is met with some difficult decisions. Faced with love and heartbreak, she realizes that things aren’t always as they seem.

Questioning her choices and her future, she soon finds that danger lurks beneath shadows and protection comes from places she thought were long gone. Falling in love is never easy and when life throws you in the deep end, sometimes all you can do is swim - or in Haley’s case, fly.
