Eventually, Finn ends up sick and desperate in small town Nebraska. Hank, the gentle stranger who nurses him back to health, seems to mirror the sadness and loss that inhabits Finn’s heart. Over a few winter months, they find solace in each other, but what happens when it becomes time for Finn to leave? Is their connection strong enough to allow themselves to be vulnerable? Or are they both too afraid of getting hurt again?
