Defying My Duty

Renegade. Nonconformist. Rebellious. Whatever term you want to use, I've been called every single one.

I wasn't always like this. I used to be the one following the straight and narrow, but my ex-partner drove me to this. I lost her. She's no longer my friend. No longer my partner. No longer the girl that I pine for.

I ran, following King, a drug lord, the vein of my existence, all the way to Texas. Piper Falls to be exact. Capturing him is the only thing that drives me forward. Until I met her.

She makes me lose focus, but she's everything I've always wanted. If I have to choose between revenge and love, I'm gonna pick love every time. Unfortunately, King and his cartel friends take my choice away and I'm forced to choose both.
