Set Her Free (FBI Agent Merit Reid Crime Thrillers, #2)

In the electrifying sequel to Break Her Silence, FBI Special Agent Merit Reid comes face to face with the police corruption that killed her sister and broke her family.

When a dangerous convict escapes from the Ohio State Penitentiary, Reid and her partner Sean Everett are on the case. Known for his cunning, ruthlessness, and mob ties, the fugitive cuts a path of violence and revenge across the state, and takes an innocent young woman hostage.

Desperate to stop the bloodshed, Reid and Everett’s chase leads them to a jailhouse rat who reveals a web of corruption that probes deep into the prison system and extends to the police as well. Merit's personal and professional worlds collide when she uncovers evidence that ties the fugitive and his crime family to the murder of her baby sister two years ago.

Can Reid and Everett put the pieces together in time to stop him from disappearing forever, before he takes another innocent life?

Explosive, enthralling, and heart-wrenching, Set Her Free is a relentless pursuit of truth that will grip you from the first page to the startling climax.
