Royal Hearts (Love at the Lake #2)

A savvy PA on a reality dating show and the silver-tongued prince she’s obligated to marry off hide secret feelings while being filmed in this small town, enemies-to-lovers, forbidden romance. But what happens when the camera catches everything?

Cat Bloomfield is a hustler who desperately needs a break and a cup of peppermint tea. She’s on the brink of becoming a partner at her PR firm and willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen, even if it means being a lowly personal assistant for a dating show starring a confidential celebrity client. Filming over the holidays in Garland, a secluded ski town nestled in tall Jeffrey Pine trees, just might be the perfect escape.

Unfortunately, the star of Royal Hearts is Cat’s nemesis and arrogant heir to the Danish throne, Winter Larsen. And all he wants for Christmas is revenge. His royal image needs an overhaul, and he agrees to find a wife on the American dating show only if a certain PR rep he has a grudge against works as his assistant. Now, Cat’s career hinges on transforming him into the dashing prince everyone expects, while he vows to make her loathe every minute.

As revenge melts into respect like snow in a mitten, the surprisingly sincere prince finds he has serious chemistry with his fiercely loyal assistant. They try desperately to hide stolen touches and hidden glances as forbidden feelings grow. Fans watching Royal Hearts, shipping the prince and the PA, are kept on the edge of their seats. But they’ll have to wait for the finale to see if Cat and Winter can pull off an unscripted happily ever after or if their secret romance was merely for show.
