In Want of a Wife (The Society of Scandalous Brides #2)

When Lily Abrams is jilted yet again, she takes matters into her own hands by responding to a matrimonial ad. Expecting the groom, she’s instead met by his charming but equally infuriating brother, Lieutenant Rafe Davies of the Royal Navy.

Rafe, down on his luck and nursing a grudge against his older brother, places a reckless ad for a bride on the earl’s behalf. But the joke’s on him when he meets spirited Lily, whose passion for the stars rivals his own for the sea.

Their journey across England to her intended should be straightforward, but sparks fly and their undeniable passion grows. Can Rafe set aside family loyalty to win Lily’s guarded heart before it’s too late?
