The Wizard's Rise (Devon Coal, #2)

Danica was captured by the enemy army and her fate is unknown. Devon immediately sets out to find and rescue his wife. His information is sparse, but a friend told him she'd be taken to the capital to be married off to a noble loyal to the king. While Devon slips past the front lines of the warring armies, Danica finds herself alone among enemies, but not all is as it seems.
