Shadows in the Woods (The North Woods Book 2)

My life as I knew it is over, my academic dreams ripped away from me. I don’t know if I can trust him, but I also can’t resist him.

After a brutal attack, Elise Wilson has been turned into a wolf shifter to save her life. But the transformation happening before she was ready for it leads to more problems than she ever thought possible.

As Elise adjusts to her new life as a shifter, she must navigate defining her place in the pack, letting go of her past, and coming into conflicts she’d never expected. Not to mention the intense bond she feels with the possessive yet withholding alpha.

I failed my mate—failed to protect her from my father, failed to prepare her for my world. But I’ll make sure no one ever hurts her again.

Everett Silas never wanted to be the True Alpha, but with the death of his father, that’s what he’s become. Now he must take on this role as the leader of all wolf shifter packs, all while trying to show his new mate, Elise, that she can be happy in this life with him—even if it means keeping secrets from her to protect her.

The fate of our pack depends on us.

These changes reveal more mysteries, and dangerous new enemies emerge. The fight to find what’s causing the rot in their beloved forest—a rot possibly affecting shifters, turning them into vicious rogues—shows that nothing is what it appeared to be.

All Elise and Everett have to do is put their faith in themselves—and each other—first.
