The Three Month Rule

No strings. No expectations. No falling in love.

Monroe Canmore has been fiercely independent her entire life. She knows all too well about the excuses people who claim to love you will make, having practically raised herself while her mother chose boyfriends over her. Monroe doesn’t have much room for disappointments or relationships, and her past romantic experiences leave her with a sour taste and a desire for nothing more than casual flings.

But when the brooding, yet annoyingly charming, Alden Van Doren returns to the resort she works at for another summer, their fiery bickering unearths the years of tension between them.

***

Alden Van Doren is no stranger to keeping his walls up. Still grappling with a devastating loss from nearly two decades ago, he makes no apologies for the cold and detached way that he comes off. But the more time he spends with Monroe, the more he finds himself drawn into her orbit, struggling to resist falling for the woman who gets under his skin like no other. What happens when the one person he can’t stand starts to become someone he can’t imagine leaving behind when his vacation comes to an end?

What was meant to be a distraction turns into something neither one of them anticipates when feelings become harder and harder to ignore.

It's just one month. Three rules. What could go wrong?
