Ties of Starlight (Tethered Hearts)

A heartbroken king. A jilted bride. A star-crossed wedding.

Idonea knows the only thing her human blood is good for is its role in strengthening the Star Elves when the comet returns every two hundred and fifty years. Her whole life has been meant for the moment she marries Olaug and finally gets it right, and not even the king can stop her perfect marriage.

The day Idonea was chosen to be part of the Cometa Couple, King Nyrunn was condemned to watching the love of his life spend the rest of hers in the arms of someone else. And he is powerless to stop it.

But when the fateful wedding day arrives, the chosen groom is nowhere to be found. If they don’t have a Cometa Couple, the kingdom’s magic will weaken and it will be their extinction.

If Nyrunn steps in, he saves his people and marries the love of his life, but what will he do when he discovers he’s not the love of hers?

When her husband is the king she fears and despises, will Idonea be able to give him her scarred heart, or will she spend the rest of their lives longing for a husband she never had?

Ties of Starlight is book 2 in Tethered Hearts, a multi-author series of no spice fantasy romances. Each standalone story features a magical bond that forces the couple to discover how much they’re willing to sacrifice for the sake of love.
