The Time-Gate (The Space Adventures of Emily Grayson, #1)

Two girls. One Time-Gate. Endless adventures across the stars.

Nineteen-year-old prodigy Emily Grayson never expected her invention to become the world’s greatest threat. When gunfire erupts outside her lab and armed forces close in, she remembers the secret note slipped to her by a senior scientist “The device you built is a Time-Gate. Every nation on Earth will fight to claim it. Use it. Go home.” As walls crumble and danger grows closer, Emily faces an impossible choice: stay and be at the mercy of unknown assailants or activate the machine she barely understands. With a single desperate move, she triggers the Time-Gate and vanishes in a burst of blinding light.

Now flung into the unknown, Emily must uncover the true power of her creation and the destiny it pulls her toward.
