His journey took him through various jobs—as a graphic designer, call center trainer, entrylevel engineer, and ultimately, the technology leader of a Fortune 500 company in the US.
“A Road in My Name” is a compilation of the lessons he learned along the way, each chapter lists practical advice with personal anecdotes. From his first job as a graphic designer in Delhi with a salary of INR 3,200 to working as a technology leader in the USA, Rakesh reflects on the importance of financial freedom, seizing opportunities, and taking risks.
This book is a guide for young Indians, especially from small towns, who may lack access to role models to guide them on their professional journey.
