Bowv has lived three lives prince, general, and bandit.

As a bandit, he has terrorized the Continent, bringing fire and death to king and peasant alike, earning him the name the Terror of the Continent. Now, he sits in a dungeon cell awaiting execution, knowing he deserves to die.

But fate has other plans. Rono, the king who imprisoned Bowv, releases the bandit on the condition that Bowv will take him to a nobleman’s body, a nobleman whom Bowv killed.

Their journey turns into an adventure when the two discover the vampires, believed to be eradicated millennia ago, walk among them.

Soon after the discovery, war breaks out, a common occurrence on the Continent, and Rono’s kingdom, unprepared for war, is invaded.

Though there is hope. Bowv agrees to help repel the invaders, and they have found the sword of the gods, a divine weapon created to slay vampires. A weapon now wielded by Bowv, a staunch atheist.

As Bowv fights invader and vampire, his worldview is shattered. Slowly, the Terror of the Continent fades into legend as a man is reborn to become the unlikeliest of heroes.
