Jasmine (Garden Belles Mail-Order Brides #8)

Jasmine thought her troubles would end when she escaped from being forced to marry an older man with evil intent. She never dreamed she would end up dressed like a boy, stowed away on a wagon train. To make matters worse, the man whose wagon she had hidden in, found women to be irritating with their constant chatter, and they certainly couldn’t be trusted. He wasn’t happy at all when he found out he had an uninvited guest.
Only going as far as St. Louis, Jasmine would make a temporary life for herself with the Williams sisters, working in their home and in their matchmaking agency, until they found her a suitable match.
Life appeared to be getting better, with her having so much to be thankful for, but she was heartsick as the wagon train left her behind, taking the man who stole her heart with it. She hadn’t made her feelings known to him, and now there was no chance to. He was gone forever. She had never felt so alone.
Could the Williams sisters ever find anyone close to replacing him? They claimed to have never failed in a matchmaking. It would be just her luck to be their first.
