Memories of an Ash Covered Sky

Memories of an Ash Covered Sky is a gripping tale of a father and daughter, estranged by years of misunderstanding and pain, drawn back into each other’s lives by the devastating Almeda Fire in Southern Oregon.

The daughter, hardened by life on the streets after fleeing home at seventeen, struggles with the ghosts of her past and the wounds of abandonment. Her father, a fire chief burdened by regret, battles not only the flames threatening his valley but the emotional distance separating him from the daughter he failed to protect. As the fire consumes everything in its path, the two are forced to confront their past and face the hard truths that have kept them apart.

Set against the backdrop of a community on the brink of destruction, Memories of an Ash Covered Sky is a powerful exploration of family, resilience, and the transformative power of forgiveness. A deeply human story, it reveals the unbreakable bonds that can emerge from the ashes.
