Lessons in Control: A Chestnut Hills Small-Town Romance (Chestnut Hills Small-Town Romance Series Book 2)

Reid Flores was living a double life. Number cruncher by day, rock cover band drummer by night. He was creating a life for himself, how he wanted. That was until a family crisis begged him to take a wife.

The last thing he was expecting was for a woman to color his life with uncertainty. When the carefree Daisy crept into his life, he realized maybe he wasn’t as in control as he thought he was. The one thing he wanted for himself, his family said he couldn’t have.

Daisy Blooms' life was finally her own, ceramics artist and successful pottery shop owner. Her carefree demeanor was carefully calculated, keeping her anxieties behind a façade of aloofness. When secrets from her past come crashing in, would she learn to finally accept help? And would it be at the hands of a hottie drummer?

Forcing themselves apart, the pull couldn’t be ignored when Reid declared himself her protector against her encroaching past. Now she had a bodyguard she didn’t need, and a hunk on her couch she didn’t want around.

At least they were both in control. Weren’t they?
