Zoe & Zephy: Her AI Helper in the House

Zoe has lots of questions about Zephy, the AI assistant who helps her family. Zephy knows a lot, talks just like people do, and is always polite, but is she a friend? Who is she, anyway?

Zoe & Zephy is a warm, funny picture book that gently explores what conversational AI can and can't do, through the eyes of a curious child. As tools like ChatGPT become part of everyday family life, this book helps spark meaningful conversations between kids and grownups about what these technologies are and what they aren't.

Created by someone who’s spent decades building technology (and answering endless questions from his kids) the book pairs a modern theme with traditionally hand-drawn watercolor illustrations, offering a deliberately analogue feel to balance the high-tech subject matter. The result is a timely, thoughtful, and visually grounded story for families raising kids in the age of AI.
