The Keeper's Blood

Three hundred human hearts are the price of freeing the monsters that could destroy every realm.
Egorh Bronbeck is nearing eighteen, but revenge burns as fiercely as ever. While hunting the slavers terrorising Crimson Lake, he discovers his old enemy Arkarrah now serves the ruthless sorceress Zinnia—and her captives are being gathered for a purpose far more sinister than he could have imagined.
Zinnia will stop at nothing to reclaim the all-powerful orinium. To reach it, she must break the curse imprisoning Egorh’s murderous half-beast brothers in the hellish realm of the HapLess. When Kayrin is taken, Egorh sets out with Daniel, a gifted young tracker, and Bubba, a mysterious healer who keeps his shadow locked inside a silver box.
Their pursuit leads through deadly wilderness, pirate territory, and toward Zinnia’s monstrous fortress beneath Black Mountain. There, Egorh must master the dangerous power of his orb and face the family he has spent his life fleeing.
But if Egorh fails, Kayrin and three hundred captives will pay the price—and the monsters of the HapLess will walk free.
