Fallen Between (The Fallen Favorites, #1.5)

Danielle asked for a year apart from Felkyn, to heal, to grieve, and to find her feet in this now unfamiliar world. Even though her time in Ireland isn’t all she’d hoped, she’s been through worse, and she’d rather keep her head down and endure than have Felkyn pull her out of the fire.

Felkyn’s world has dimmed without Danielle’s presence. Feeding’s lost its appeal, he feels like he’s spiraling, and everything reminds him of Danielle. He’s determined to last the year before contacting her, but there’s a song writing itself in his heart, and he has to get it out in the world before he ignites.

Just as music is Felkyn’s only release, makeup holds Danielle afloat until a serendipitous friendship pulls her from her despair, propels her into the music industry, where she catches her foot in the door of her dream career. When Felkyn’s new song drops, their lives crash back together, and the love they’ve kept simmering all year burns.

But the Agathati, the witches that previously gambled with Danielle’s life, are determined to use her again in their mission to kill Cain. Only this time, she isn’t the bait: she’s the weapon. Danielle will have to confront every one of her fears, because it isn’t just her future with Felkyn that’s under fire: it’s her freedom.
