Colt (The Bull Riders, #2)

You can't always get what you want...

Colt Campbell is the golden boy of Gold Valley. He always gets what he wants - whether it's a win on the rodeo circuit or a woman. Until a serious accident during a bull ride leaves him severe injuries, and sends him back home at the beginning of the season. Angry, and facing an uncertain future, Colt needs care and he doesn't want it. And he's about to get it from the last place he'd ever ask for it...

Allison Lane has hated Colt ever since he became her stepbrother. Before that he was her older brother's maddening best friend, and then he became family. She had to start hating him, because when their parents got married it destroyed all the hopes and dreams she used to have about him one day falling in love with her. She's tried everything to get rid of her attraction to him, but nothing works.

Now nursing student Allison is tasked by her family with caring for Colt during his recovery, and he's proving to be a miserable patient. But the close proximity forces them to see each other in a new light, and when attraction sparks to life neither can resist. But when Colt is well enough to go back to his new life, will he leave Allison behind?
