Restoring the Balance

After waking up from a blackout at a party and realising what had happened to her, all Betty wanted was understanding and compassion. But when not even her closest friends can give her that, she decides, together with her parents, the only ones who believe her, to go to court. The legal system fails her, the rich buying their son his future, while hers is ruined. A wound so deep, a trauma she’ll carry for the rest of her life, a constant reminder she’ll never get rid of.

Her perpetrator cannot let slide the fact that she tried to ruin his reputation, instead of being grateful that he even laid eyes on her. He launches an unrelenting attack on her through social media, text messages, and video leaks, and even her best friend joins in.
