Artful Deceit (Lily Larkin Mysteries, #6)

A stolen bag. A hidden past. A truth too dangerous to share.

Lily Larkin’s life on the Isles of Scilly is finally settling into a comfortable rhythm – especially now that her relationship with PC Flynn Grainger is beginning to blossom.

But a spate of burglaries soon shatters the calm. And when Lily’s own flat is broken into, things take a chilling turn.

The only thing missing? A backpack containing a stash of cash and two passports... both bearing her face, but different identities.

Desperate to retrieve the stolen bag – and to keep Flynn out of the loop – Lily follows a trail of clues to a secluded artists’ retreat, where secrets simmer just beneath the surface.

As the truth edges closer, she finds herself in a race against time. Can she recover the stolen items before the police do? Or will the discovery of her hidden past spark questions she’s not ready to answer?

With Flynn’s transfer looming and her heart on the line, Lily must confront the mystery of her childhood – and decide just how far she’s willing to go to uncover the truth.
