A Pawn in the Game (The Mafia Games Duology #1)

A son bound by duty. A forbidden romance. A betrayal of blood.

Luka
My loyalty has always been to my family before anyone or anything else. Which is exactly why I don’t think twice about kidnapping the daughter of our worst enemy.

Sophie isn’t anything special. She’s a pawn. Collateral, and nothing more. Except the more time I spend with the anxious minx, the more I realize that Sophie and I are playing a dangerous game.

Am I willing to risk my revenge for my queen? Or will Sophie steal more than just my bloody heart?

Sophie

I always knew this day would come—the one where I’d have to pay for my father’s sins. I just didn’t think it would come in the form of Luka Petrović.

I should be terrified of him, and I am…but there’s also a part of me that is drawn to him like a lamb to the slaughter. He’s my captor, but I crave the marks he leaves on my skin and I’ve never felt safer than I do when I’m with him, which is a problem.

Can I give into my desire even if it means destroying everything I’ve ever known? Or will Luka’s ruthless love change the game forever?
