Bargain with the Demon King

She sold her soul to save the man she loved. She didn't read the fine print.

When raiders tear through the market and the man Adraya loves is dying in the mud, she does the only thing left — she screams for someone, anyone, to save him. Something answers. The price for his life is her soul, forever, and she pays it without blinking.

She doesn't find out until it's done that the something she bargained with is the Demon King himself.

Azzaron has claimed ten thousand souls and mourned exactly none of them. He expects this mortal to weep and shatter like all the rest. Instead she admires the view of hell, strikes up conversations with his mountains, and greets eternal damnation with a smile that makes his ancient, frozen heart do something deeply inconvenient.

Adraya arrived certain of one thing: the love she gave everything for. But the demon who owns her soul is nothing like the monster from the stories — and the deeper she falls into his world of shadow and stolen starlight, the harder it becomes to remember what she sacrificed, or why she was ever so sure.

She bargained her soul to save one man.

She never planned to lose her heart to a monster.
