Flash Point (Phoenix Ridge Police Department #5)

A string of fires. Two women on opposite sides of the investigation. One spark that changes everything.

Welcome back to Phoenix Ridge PD—the women-led, super sapphic, police department where justice is healing, power is accountable, and every officer has a heart worth fighting for.

Detective Lena Soto doesn’t play well with others. She trusts facts, not feelings—and definitely not the idealistic Fire Marshal assigned to her latest arson case.

Erin Vance believes prevention saves lives. She’s all heart, detail, and impossible optimism—and she refuses to back down, even when Lena’s skepticism burns hotter than the flames they’re chasing.

When a new blaze tears through the city, they’re forced into an uneasy partnership that ignites more than professional tension. Long nights, close calls, and one moment too many in the heat of danger push their rivalry past its breaking point.

The fires are getting closer. So are Lena and Erin.
And at the flash point between danger and desire, someone is bound to get burned.
