The Mafia's Queen

Ruthless, cold, and beautiful, Maeve O’Brien is the Captain of the only Irish Clan in Boston. Deadly with knives, and infamous for her unpredictable rage, she rules her family with an iron fist. No one dares to cross her–and no one touches her siblings.
But behind the scenes, threats are mounting. The Board, a group of backers who financed her father, are demanding she pay her dues—including selling her siblings into old decrees he wrote before his untimely death. If not, she risks not only her throne, or her life, but the lives of everyone she cares about.

Enter the Reaper. Killian Linwood is a killer born from the underworld, who terrifies everyone–except Maeve. A man with the taste of blood on his tongue, and two black claw knives on his belt, he’s been obsessed with her since they were rivals in the clan. But when he lost her, that obsession only grew in intensity.

Now, with people coming for her head, he’s making it his mission to keep her alive—and take back her soul, because she’s only ever belonged to him.

With no other choice, Maeve must rely on her ex to fight back assassins, and to help protect her family. But just as they work past festering wounds, and reignite their toxic love, old ghosts will rise to take them both to Hell. In order to survive, they’ll have to fully trust the other, and succumb to their shared darkness, or face death.
