Under Her Command (Phoenix Ridge Police Department #6)

A missing girl. A ruthless syndicate. And the one detective Victoria Langley shouldn’t want at her side.Welcome to Phoenix Ridge a fictional, women-led police department where justice is healing, power is accountable, and every officer we meet is an inclusive, feminist, anti-racist badass who actually deserves the badge. (Phoenix Ridge is the PD we wish we had. Come escape there with me!)

This is a grumpy/sunshine, Ice Queen, slow-burn lesbian romance with high-stakes tension and plenty of sparks in all the wrong places.

Captain Victoria Langley does not mix business with pleasure.
She doesn’t bend rules, lose focus, or get flustered—ever.

Until Detective Isabel Torres walks into her briefing room.

Isabel is late, chaotic, charming, and infuriatingly attractive.
Victoria is disciplined, controlled, and determined not to feel a thing.
They are opposites in every way… and they’re suddenly assigned to work side by side on the biggest kidnapping case of the year.

Close quarters blur into late nights.
Sharp arguments turn into charged silences.
And the pull between them becomes a distraction Victoria can’t afford.

They’re supposed to find a missing girl.
They’re supposed to stay professional.
They’re absolutely not supposed to fall for each other.

But some chemistry is too dangerous to ignore… and the only thing riskier than breaking the rules might be obeying them.

A steamy sapphic romantic suspense about forbidden attraction, slow-burn heat, found family, and the love that catches you when you finally stop running.
