Kept by the Ranger (Paramedic Rangers)

I told myself I was just doing my job. I was lying.

TALON

Hailey Bilson was never supposed to matter.

She became my responsibility when I hired her. She became my obsession the moment I realized I couldn’t stop watching her.

When she gets injured on a trail, I find her because I was already following her.

And once her life is in my arms, I stop pretending I’m in control.

Saving her is easy. Letting her go is impossible.

HAILEY

I came to Glacier Hollow to escape being everyone’s caretaker. A place where no one needed me to fix their chaos.

Talon Cross was not part of the plan.

He’s intense. Grumpy. Controlling.

When he carries me out of the woods and refuses to let me go, I realize the truth is more dangerous than the storm.

Talon doesn’t just want to rescue me.

He wants to keep me.

And the scariest part?

I don’t think I want him to stop.
