Herbert - Aid Worker from Outer Space (Herbert-Series, #1)

Herbert’s mission: to disable all weapons on Earth so that his alien companions can safely indulge their passion for skiing, surfing, and sailing. His cover: a human development aid worker.

A crash landing in Lake Michigan, trouble with the government, secret services, and the mafia, as well as a growing attraction to a very attractive female IT manager, draw him into a whirlwind of events.

But the charismatic and somewhat clumsy thirty-something manages to escape and start a new life as a programmer—a task he finds easy thanks to his extraordinary talent for electronics. Herbert appears to be human, but he actually comes from a distant planet called Goni.

A technical genius, he uses his skills to help steal an old spaceship from Area 51. But things rarely go according to plan—quite the opposite. As more and more weapons are rendered useless, entire countries and governments begin to fall apart, giving rise to a new world order.

A humorous science-fiction satire about first contact, world politics, power struggles, and the question of what happens when an alien tries to save humanity. An absurd and entertaining sci-fi comedy.
