Street Slave (Book 1): Amber

Amber hasn’t had the easiest childhood, and when she ages out of the foster care system she has to hit the streets with nothing to her name and no support. But Camp Corvallis offers a glimmer of hope for her. In exchange for the opportunity to be fed and sheltered, she agrees to rent herself out to whoever is willing to bid on her, for whatever tasks the business or individual wants. As long as Amber is willing, that is. As long as she wants to keep being fed. And as long as she makes it back in time.

The rules of the camp are harsh and the penalties for violators are severe and humiliating, but Amber is willing to give it a go, if she can handle the humiliating intake procedure. There’s not much else out there for a young woman like her.
