Dead Ringer (The Afterlife Files #8)

The death was supposed to be fake. The murder wasn't.

Wren Grimm is no stranger to staging deaths for supernatural clients who need a fresh start. But when her latest client turns up genuinely dead before the plan is complete, she's trapped between protecting the supernatural community's secrets and solving a murder no one is supposed to know about. Someone wanted this death to be real — and Wren's the only one who knows the difference.
