Lex (All Guts, No Glory #7)

He was flying high until grief grounded him. But one look at her, and he’s ready to fly again.
Lex Battle used to have it all figured out: fly fast, flirt faster, never look back. A hotshot former fighter pilot with a devil-may-care attitude, commitment was never part of his flight plan. But since becoming the last single man among his friends and then losing his father, something’s shifted. The swagger’s gone, the mojo’s MIA, and Lex is a man adrift.
Until he spots her across a crowded bar, and his heart knows in an instant… She’s the one.
Summer Holt knows better than to fall for a charmer—and she has the divorce papers to prove it. A man who is younger, wilder and sinfully good-looking is exactly the kind of trouble her heart doesn’t need. So why does it feel so right?
Resisting Lex proves impossible, and neither can fight the undeniable pull. He’s sweet. He’s protective. He’s a gentleman right up until the moment he isn’t. And for the first time in years, Summer lets herself fall.
Then her past comes crashing back. Her ex-husband has made dangerous enemies, and they think she holds the key to finding him.
When Summer is taken, Lex will stop at nothing to get her back. Ex-husband. Armed men. Fate itself. None of it matters. Lex will burn it all down—and walk out of the ashes with Summer in his arms.
