The Dancing Girl (The Dancing Girl #1)

"By day, Jordan is an ordinary college student; by night, she dances at The Silk Club just to scrape by. But her quiet struggle for survival turns violent when she is attacked by mercenaries and saved by a lethal man in black—a stranger who has been watching her from the shadows.

Forced to abandon her identity for a world of safe houses and bullet wounds, Jordan tends to her protector after a near-fatal ambush. In doing so, she evolves from a terrified victim into a capable survivor. When she uncovers that her parents' deaths were assassinations rather than accidents, she realizes she can no longer hide. With a backpack full of cash and a complex bond with her guardian, Jordan decides to stop running and hunt down the man who destroyed her family."
