d.o.c; Drug Of Choice

D.O.C is a harrowing anthology of sixteen short horror stories that explores addiction in its many monstrous forms. From the gnawing ache of overindulgence to the suffocating grip of hoarding, from the glittering seduction of gambling to the chemical promises of drugs and smoke, each tale peels back the veneer of control to reveal something far more insidious lurking beneath.

These stories do not merely examine bad habits; they personify them. Hunger becomes a living force that devours more than flesh. A gambler’s lucky streak opens a door that should never have been touched. Risky desire summons consequences that refuse to stay buried. Even the pursuit of adrenaline and the obsession with death take on a will of their own.
Each story stands alone, yet together they form a chilling mosaic of compulsion, shame, and surrender. The characters are ordinary people; who believe they are in control until their cravings begin to whisper back.
They are us.
They are you.

Unflinching and deeply unsettling, D.O.C forces readers to confront the thin line between desire and destruction.
These stories will shock you.
They will cling to you.
And long after you turn the final page, you may find yourself questioning which of your own hungers is quietly waiting in the dark.
