Want & Ruin: A Slavic Folklore Dark Romantasy

"What are you doing out here alone? Don't you know there are monsters in these woods?"

In this fast-paced, high-stakes, high-heat romantasy debut standalone novel, a woman hidden away her whole life must survive the Razorcliff Mountains and a mysterious but alluring man to discover who she really is. Perfect for fans of monster romance who are looking for something spicier and darker, with folkloric monsters, forced proximity, and a morally grey monster hunter.

Once upon a time, there lived an exile named Krikhyn. She is imprisoned at a convent by the court for dark magic and blamed for twenty-three years of snow. But she isn't magical. Krikhyn has been under the control of a warlock and the crown her whole life, never allowed to make a decision for herself. One night, she feels the hot breath of something monstrous against her bare skin in the hedge maze, and a new … wrong want begins to burn inside her.

Starved for touch, she seeks him out. Her hunger for more of the beast, more of life, forces her onto the road through the Razorcliff Mountains, where she will have to make impossible choices when she doesn't know the rules. Who can she trust in a world of deals that bind? The monster hunter, Torrien, knows too much about her. Despite knowing how dangerous he is, he is all her body wants.

She left Saint Ruyien Convent an exile. What will she be when she reaches the other side of the Razorcliffs? Will she survive to claim her birthright?

Or just be payment on a debt.
